The Right Word Matters: Quote, Proposal, or Estimate?

Quote, Proposal, or Estimate

In business, using the right term can make all the difference. Depending on your industry or how you do business, it might be better to send your customers a ‘Proposal’ or an ‘Estimate’, instead of a ‘Quote’, which has been the only option in Quotient until now.

Now, you have the option to choose!

To make the switch, simply head to Layout, Contact Info, Acceptance, where you can change the label from ‘Quote’ to either ‘Proposal’ or ‘Estimate’.

Once you make this change, it will automatically apply to all past and future Quotes, as well as future customer emails. You may need to manually update some of the wording in your Email Templates if you’ve customized them previously.

How it will appear to your customers:

View Proposal, Accept Proposal
