Including Terms & Conditions
Including Terms & Conditions on your Quotes is essential as it establishes clear expectations and responsibilities for both you and your customers.
Terms & Conditions should outline important details such as payment schedules, the scope of work, delivery timelines, and what happens in case of cancellations or unforeseen issues. By setting these guidelines upfront, both parties gain a mutual understanding, which helps prevent misunderstandings and disputes. Additionally, Terms & Conditions provide legal protection, ensuring that the agreement is fair and enforceable. This clarity and structure contribute to a more professional and smooth business relationship.
How to include Terms & Conditions on every Quote:
- If you don’t have one already, start by creating a Template.
- Add a Text Item towards the bottom of your Template and call it 'Terms & Conditions'.
- Enter all your Terms & Conditions text to the Long Description field, or attach a PDF if you have a lot of text.
- Once you’re happy with your Template, hit 'Save'.
Now every time you create a Quote from this Template, your Terms & Conditions will be included.
