Matt did a great job building our deck, we had chosen some vertical composite cladding and he installed that as well as the Tex decking.

Our design was quite complex, with a sunken hot tub in the deck and a raised balcony giving access to a higher entrance to the house. Right from the start, Matt saw our vision and has translated it into a masterpiece that has completely transformed our garden into an outside space we adore spending time in. Where do we begin - start to finish professionalism but its not cheap!

If you want a good decking project don’t call DEX - they won’t do it. DEX can only create exceptional decks and won’t cut corners (pardon the pun).

From product knowledge, deck samples, 3D designs our confidence was build on solid foundations, just like they’re decking.

Matt from Designer Exteriors removed my tired & dangerous timber decking. Once I had received an estimate Matt came to visit along with samples of top quality composite decking from Trex & Millboard. He then sent me a in-depth and informative quotation with prices for all of the different ranges from Trex & Millboard.
Once I had made my choice a start date was communicated and Matt came and swiftly removed the old deck and replaced with a fantastic Trex deck along with a black metal balustrade. I am really happy with the end result I received with excellent service and work. Many thanks.

I moved into my new house last year, and it has a small back garden which was not very usable, it didn't flow. I had some ideas of what I wanted and didn't want but very little understanding of what would work. Matt came round and I tried to explain my ideas and we discussed what might work. He went away and came back with a plan which we agreed on. He returned with samples and discussed options, always taking time to explain everything and made sure I understood.
He started work in January so there were days when the weather made it impossible to work. He always let me know when he was coming or unable to make it. His work ethic is excellent and he just got on with the work, always tyding up at the end of each day. Throughout the whole process he was professional, hard working, trustworthy and very pleasant.
